Conjunction of the Moon and Saturn – 06 Oct 2025 at 8:27 AM IST

The Moon and Saturn will appear close together in the sky on 6 October 2025 at 8:27 AM IST, sharing the same right ascension. The Moon will pass 3°47′ to the north of Saturn and will be 15 days old.

From New Delhi, the pair will be visible in the evening sky, becoming accessible around 6:30 PM, 15° above the eastern horizon, as dusk fades to darkness. They will reach their highest point at 11:11 PM, 57° above the southern horizon, and remain observable until around 4:12 AM, when they sink below 11° above the western horizon.

The Moon will be at magnitude -12.7 in Pisces, and Saturn at 0.6 in the neighbouring constellation Aquarius. They can be seen with the naked eye or binoculars.
