Conjunction of Mercury and Mars – 21 Oct 2025

Mercury and Mars will appear close together in the sky on 21 October 2025, sharing the same right ascension. Mercury will pass 2°07′ to the south of Mars.

However, from New Delhi, the pair will not be visible. They will reach their highest point during the daytime and will be no more than 4° above the horizon at dusk. Mercury will be at magnitude -0.2 and Mars at 1.5, both in the constellation Libra.
They can be seen with the naked eye or binoculars, but only if the sky conditions allow.
